Snow

Stavanger has some of the beautiful snow days. Unlike many other European cities, it has very less snowfall every year and it doesn't last for more than two days. You might wonder why I'm happy with less and short snowfalls when I really like having snow around? You would understand if you have ever lived in a cold place that snows for several days and lasts too long - time when you need to spend a lot of time cleaning drive ways and wind shields. Seriously! that task is annoying and makes me sick doing it every single day till winter ends. 

So this place Stavanger makes it easy for you to still enjoy the light snowfall and skip the cleaning part. But of-course you definitely can visit a near-by ski resort or mountains to enjoy that x-centimeters/few feet powdered snow that you can taste. Yes, I did! :-D

The best time is post the snowfall when the leaf less branches are filled with snow flakes creating a black and white scenic view all around ❤ I just wish we have some more snow this year!
