Weekend WindSurfing..

I am trying to make my weekends colorful after a long heck of boring weekends. I am almost sick of these lazy days and I can't be at home anymore. So we planned something for last weekend and could successfully do it. The popular shows in Texas - Rodeo shows and Carnivals are going on but Pria never attempted to enjoy them :( But fortunately she could make up for the Carnivals last weekend and really enjoyed one of those crazy rides called WindSurf. Going out and breathing fresh air makes me alive. This is where they take you to top on ride and twist and turn and flip flop with you.

It would be very colorful at the beginning like this..
Me getting ready for the ride..
Still thinking!!
Finally ready I think..
Started enjoying..
The thing they do here is.. take you to top.. keep you upside down for few seconds then 360 degrees turns n then pumps water from bottom.. crazy!!
No.. they are not landing..
They take you down and with such a rush they throw you again..
Oops.. enough now.. my hair is completely spoiled :P
Finally landed safely!! :)
My roomie was scared and could not come for this ride.. Pria is bravo!! :P
And I also went for this speed ride.. don't know its name exactly.. :)
And I also won a toy puppy hutch dog in balloon bursting game.. :) loving it..
Waiting for Rodeo show next weekend.. Hope we get tickets for cheap.. BRB..

Polka Dots Please

I love how Polka Dots are so versatile. You don't need to wait for a season to wear them or in fact wait for any occasion. I've got enough of my polka dots outfits and I love all of them. Especially this blazer.. I was bit skeptical when I bought this if it looks too formal and works well only as formals. But let me tell you. This will go with anything and everything.. for a work meeting with formal trousers and shirts, at the same time you can wear for a family dinner or carry it as a warmer for a cocktail party when you feel chills with your drinks. Or for a girls casual day-out wearing with a simple jeans and t-shirt like this one.
Here, I styled it with my favourite jeans over a tube top, accessorised with a simple choker and an aqua shade finger ring (not well captured but another favourite one). Ended with a pony tail and black heels which I think gave a classy look, no? What do you think? Let me know how it works for you.

Summer Dream

Starting with some "long time no see" ranting.. 😀 I can't believe that its been such a long time I opened the blog to write a post. The last time I was here, I wrote a long travel post with some nice pictures and I lost the whole thing for the second time when I was editing the format. I got fed up and procrastinated it forever.
Then this post was supposed to go in summer around August. But I realised that managing a blog with a full-time job (which you love the most), travelling, other hobbies and long to-do lists of personal errands is not an easy task after all. And falling sick in-between all this makes it even more worse. The blog totally had to take a back seat.
Coming to the weather part, this year has been a disaster. Every one of us felt like we got cheated by Stavanger. Or the Sun God decided not to visit us. Or the Earth didn't tilt well enough for Norway to get some Sun. Whatever! Would you believe if I say that this whole year gave us the sunny days th…

What is L.O.V.E.?

The four lettered happiest, hurtful, mysterious (and what not!) word causing happiness, pain and loads of confusion in lives of people. While I started to write something about it on this "so called" special day, nothing popped up in my mind. Like nothing. Nada.
I questioned myself - Can we really say/write about love? Can we really define love? Isn't Love a feeling to experience and an expression to let someone know about your feeling? There are SO many kinds of love that words alone can never do it justice. Probably that is the reason they simplified it to the phrase 'I Love You'.
Love towards our parents, siblings, husband/wife, kids, family, friends, pets, acquaintances, and even to a stranger, we show our love and respect. Each one of us has our own feeling, experience, definition and obviously our own ways of expressing it.
Love is like a sneeze, I feel.. you know.. the restlessness before and the relaxation after. Its exactly the same. And you cannot explain…
