My last 2days were crazy. I just don't have time anything to blog and so decided to ramble away!I am slapping myself right now for promising to post twice a week and failing and then trying to make an excuse in my point 1. However, I still have some hopes on my promise *shutting up and hiding*Why do people say Random Ramblings? Rambling means talking randomly, no?Planned to decorate our small kind-of-christmas-tree this evening. My tummy is shouting "I am hungry.. feed me, you bitch!".Its funny that I read Idly as Idli instead of Idle-ly :P This means my tummy is right.I am visiting India soon!!! I am flying over London to meet my cousins and friends. I applied for visa and would get it soon, hopefully!Waiting is such a pain in the a$$. Did I really say that? I thought I just typed-in a random special character.Ordered a camera for dad. This is going to be a surprise for him :)Countlessly playing this song from a tamil movie. I don't understand it but love SP BalaSubr…

I am still alive and with Red pants on!

This post is just to say that I am still alive and around. But not too much into blogging. My weeks have been running so hectic that I forgot to have lunch one day. I remember teachers back in school asking me this question when I forget to do my home work - "Do you forget to eat food?". Then I was surprised and always thought what a stupid question it is! But now I have the answer. Yes! I can forget eating when I am burdened with work.
Anyway, my red pants are here, finally after a long wait. Red and Black is one of my favorite combinations. I made a target to do a photo-shoot by end of every weekend. And also to post twice every week so that I will not be pending with my clothing/style posts. I have them in drafts but no time to post.
Frankly, I just realized that I never bothered paid much attention about my follower's blogs or the blogs of people who comment on my posts. So now as I decided to be close to blogging, I promise I would be around very often and would t…

Arkansas Photography

In summer, we were on a trip to Arkansas, state located in southern region of USA for 3days. It was a great start of 7hours drive in the early morning. We have done a lot of new things there. Biking, Trekking, Kayaking, Boating and most fun long drives and photo shoots in those forests. I loved the Kayak and Boat so much. I say, you should give a try. Kayak is soo fun! Waah, totally it was an awesome trip.
Here is little from my experiments.

The 'Always' Happy Feet

Hide and Smile (Like Hide and Seek) :)

I somehow liked the pinkish shades at the ends.

Devotional Colors

I still remember how much I loved the color Pink when I was a kid.

P.S: These are basic shots and few more to come.
Thanks Giving is here and we are all set to shop and food. First time ever I am going to an American's ThanksGiving dinner tonight. And shopping, I controlled my budget to shop now and for Christmas. Yay, I have to shop for my visit to India too! *excited*

P.P.S: I drastically shifted from iOS…

Baby Showers

Recently, one of my colleagues invited me for her daughter's baby shower. I would for sure wear some fancy salwar or saree for Indians. But I don't have any clue about American baby showers. What they wear, what they do and what I need to gift. After scanning my closet for half an hour, this is what I came up with. I am comfortable in skirts and they are my all time favourites. Or may be I had to chose this to match with my new favourite shoes *shying* And I could come up with a nice gift too - Baby bath bed.

The fun part of their baby shower is the games. One of them is something like this - they would give us some choclates, ask us to smell and write the name. Sounds nothing, eh? They keep the choclates paste in diapers. When we opened the diaper, the choclate looked like a paste and imagine they asking us to smell it. Everyone felt yuck before they started smelling it a number of times to figure out the name. But after all its a game. My colleague even tried to taste it :…

Boisterous Bowling!

What do you do on a weekend which is totally lazy and boring, no more good movies to watch, interrupting weather to make a plan (which will obviously fail) but all your friends are completely available? Go for Bowling!

Bowling is a fun place to hang out with a bunch of friends. It drains out all your laziness and gives you that game spirit. It is a physical exercise too. The bowling room was with teens, kids playing, clapping and shouting for each strike. This atmosphere makes me to play more. We decided to play a kind-of-strict game and divided our names on 2scoreboards. I searched for the lightest-weight ball. Usually noone prefers light weight (which may go with bad accuracy) unless they are slim, thin, can't-even-carry-the-next-heavy-ball types like me. I've seen kids playing it so well and easily. For me, there are many times when the ball lands up nowhere but straight into the gutter.

I enquired, learnt, practiced and implemented few bowling styles/techniques and yeah t…

Diwali Disaster and Ra One!

No, my Diwali wasn't a disaster coz of Ra One. Its just another random title!

They say Diwali is a festival which makes you peaceful over evil by burning/bursting out evil and getting good. My mom would force me to light atleast a candle to throw out all the evil from me :) If this is true, don't we like to celebrate it daily? I don't believe in all this. If I want to have some peace, I make it right away at the moment. I don't wait for that RIGHT time. For me, the right time is right here! And yes! I love celebrating Diwali.

This is the second year in a row we couldn't celebrate Diwali here. I still remember last year spending dussera and diwali completely at temples as I was new to this place and no other chance except visiting temples with families I know. And this year, not that my connection with God is decreased but wasn't so much attracted to temples. We just planned to go to office in Indian attire, visit temple, see the fire works and have some good fo…

When it happened to be August 27th!

** This is one of those posts from my drafts. I know its almost 2months and this shows how lazy I am! **

It was my first birthday in the US of A and I wasn't excited as I was away from my family and friends. How much I love to spend my birthdays with my family! But well.. my roomies and their friends are not so bad. They celebrated my birthday as not expected and we had fun time for 2days as it was a weekend.

I was weak the whole week (see I am not confused between weak and week :P). But still I didn't stay back without shopping :) The day started with a nice cake cutting, phone calls, long talks with friends, movies and dinner. It was a memorable day over all.

This is what I wore.. dress of the day.

Trying to pose

My eyes show how sick I was!

This is the cake from PF Chang's. Never bored of chinese bistros.

Steve Paul Jobs in 3Stories

It was sad and shocking about Steve Jobs death. I use Apple but never tried to dig its history till his death. I was all excited about the iPhone4S release for which I've been for a long. The previous day of his death I was glued to my computer checking out the media release and little about the Apple. The next day was his death and I could not believe it. The most painful part is, he was just 56! Man, he changed the world the way we use phone and computer!
Before I talk a lot, he himself briefs about his life in 3stories. Do watch this video. He is simple, smart and genius!

These pictures show how cancer affected Steve over the years.

His death was widely mourned and considered a loss to the world. RIP Steve! God Bless!

Boston Photography

As I planned to show my photography skills on my blog, here I start with :)

Boston Downtown

I am the Tallest

Sailing through a lonely way......

I am not scared of darkness

Unfortunately, one of these lamps was switched off (or not working?)

P.S. See all my experiments here. Would love some feedback!
Do you ever feel to eat something badly and go mad if you don't have it then? I do! I want pani-puri, UGH! Completely determined to have on this weekend.
P.P.S. By the way, what do you think about my new blog template?

Weekend Fun!

I watched 3movies this weekend. One of them being my regional movie (Dookudu), had an experience of running, standing and get stamped in queues as it was the first day. I never saw theatres here so crowded before. But it was fun as I got the feeling of India where you stand in long queues to get tickets cheaply rather than buying them in black, talking to all strangers around you about the stampedes and the movie review.
The movie is ok and the comedy felt to be good. It is a mixture of many other movies. What would the directors do when they don't have any other story or when they find their story already released? So, they try to create all kinds of buster news to boost the audience watch their movies, But as expected it isn't a super duper hit (I say). But as usual, Mahesh is good (I am not his fan). No wonder why Namrata married this guy. :)
The other two are 'Rise of the planet of the apes' and 'I dont know how she does it'.
I, kind of liked the first one b…
