Hair & There. Black & White.

I think this is the best haircut I could ever get. This is the first time I tried side bang and it turned out nice (well, I feel so). Because every single time I have a cut, I regret of visiting that hairdresser and would curse till my hair is back to its worst expected zig-zag length. The people much worried than me about my hair are my parents, especially my dad. Not sure why but he loves my hair, when its long :) Sweet, isn't it? And my mom would join me in cursing.

Finding the one perfect hair dresser has been a night mare. I say so coz. its just not the cut I would be happy about but also the way the hair grows back post cut. I would just grow my awkward hair so long that one day some one at work had to remind me to go for a cut. That was little embarrassing moment.

After half a decade of getting bad hair cuts, I crossed my fingers when I visited Visible Changes in the States. I would opt for the senior dresser and not bother about the high amounts they charge for just a hair cut instead of spending it for another cut and make it worse. None of these dressers ever disappointed me. The changes would be clearly visible as the name says. From junior to senior to specialist, everyone gave me worthy and the cuts I wished for. And then I am happy!

Anyway, there going to be long stories about my hair if I have to tell. But then you are not here for all that, are you?

P.S. These aren't the nice pictures I could capture of my hair here as it was windy. Also I wanted to show you my all time favorite combo, black and white.

P.P.S. I am now on facebook and twitter. Please feel free to join if you like to.

Polka Dots Please

I love how Polka Dots are so versatile. You don't need to wait for a season to wear them or in fact wait for any occasion. I've got enough of my polka dots outfits and I love all of them. Especially this blazer.. I was bit skeptical when I bought this if it looks too formal and works well only as formals. But let me tell you. This will go with anything and everything.. for a work meeting with formal trousers and shirts, at the same time you can wear for a family dinner or carry it as a warmer for a cocktail party when you feel chills with your drinks. Or for a girls casual day-out wearing with a simple jeans and t-shirt like this one.
Here, I styled it with my favourite jeans over a tube top, accessorised with a simple choker and an aqua shade finger ring (not well captured but another favourite one). Ended with a pony tail and black heels which I think gave a classy look, no? What do you think? Let me know how it works for you.

Indianizing Christmas Day outfit :)

Remember the blog post I wrote last year Indianizing St. Patricks Day outfit
You don't, do you?
Then sprint over to that post first.

Ok, now that I have your attention..

Please note that I am back to blogging.. as always. I now started calling myself as "Occasional blogger" after I realised that I can't be regular here anymore. Though I have been reading other blog posts quite regularly, but writing one has become so hard for me. So I hope I will let myself have this tag at-least.

While I was chilling on this 5days long weekend break loading myself with sugar, I decided to do this Chrismassy post. It is a beautiful time of the year everywhere and what more than dedicating it with a red outfit!
This dress is one of my all time favorites and very special. Its a simple ready-made dress (which I stole from my sister 😬). The color and fitting instantly caught my eye and I love it more for the mesh fabric and dupatta. I paired it with antique colored jewellery and brown san…

What is L.O.V.E.?

The four lettered happiest, hurtful, mysterious (and what not!) word causing happiness, pain and loads of confusion in lives of people. While I started to write something about it on this "so called" special day, nothing popped up in my mind. Like nothing. Nada.
I questioned myself - Can we really say/write about love? Can we really define love? Isn't Love a feeling to experience and an expression to let someone know about your feeling? There are SO many kinds of love that words alone can never do it justice. Probably that is the reason they simplified it to the phrase 'I Love You'.
Love towards our parents, siblings, husband/wife, kids, family, friends, pets, acquaintances, and even to a stranger, we show our love and respect. Each one of us has our own feeling, experience, definition and obviously our own ways of expressing it.
Love is like a sneeze, I feel.. you know.. the restlessness before and the relaxation after. Its exactly the same. And you cannot explain…
