You don't find time, you make time.

[With my favorite aunt for she gifts us a lot]
Aunt: Hi
Me: Hey aunt, how have you been?
Aunt: I'm fine. How are you?
Me: I'm fine too aunt. It's going great! *Life was much exciting then*
Aunt: What are you up to?

*Me trying to skip her next question* [She is the principal of a school and is as strict with us as with her students. However, she is fair and good to be an aunt.]
There comes her next unexpected question.

Aunt: Where have you been these days? Haven't been home in a long time.
Me: Ac.. tually I have been really BUSY.
Aunt: *giving me that strict-principal-look already*
Me: Actually been busy with work these days.
Aunt: *still with the same strict-principal-look* Hhmm.. people who say busy are those who think they are busy. But they are just busy thinking that they are busy.
Me: *confused look* *Trying to arrange all the busy words correctly in her dialogue* Oh well!! @#$%^&*

Are you also confused like me? Then read it again. It does make sense.

And now, whenever I use the word 'busy' with someone or think I am busy, this conversation flashes in my mind. It makes me to shut up and keep my mind to work except from thinking that I'm busy. I took this to heart and tried to give time for everything that came my way. I said 'yes' to everything on my to-do list and every request I received from others. Don't you think we do have enough time for everything but still feel to have few more hours in a day to get things done?

My last 10 days have been so hectic and tight scheduled and I am happy to be that way. I loved running after everything I wanted to do. I loved being dedicated to my work. I loved giving time for an event and being creative. I loved spending time with friends. I loved checking things off my to-do list. I loved the feeling of being busy. Busy in real sense.

This top is gift from a friend and I loved the color. I wore this on a Sunday morning and felt fresh the whole day. Yes, my mood depends on my clothes too.

You never know when it rains in here.

Polka Dots Please

I love how Polka Dots are so versatile. You don't need to wait for a season to wear them or in fact wait for any occasion. I've got enough of my polka dots outfits and I love all of them. Especially this blazer.. I was bit skeptical when I bought this if it looks too formal and works well only as formals. But let me tell you. This will go with anything and everything.. for a work meeting with formal trousers and shirts, at the same time you can wear for a family dinner or carry it as a warmer for a cocktail party when you feel chills with your drinks. Or for a girls casual day-out wearing with a simple jeans and t-shirt like this one.
Here, I styled it with my favourite jeans over a tube top, accessorised with a simple choker and an aqua shade finger ring (not well captured but another favourite one). Ended with a pony tail and black heels which I think gave a classy look, no? What do you think? Let me know how it works for you.

Indianizing Christmas Day outfit :)

Remember the blog post I wrote last year Indianizing St. Patricks Day outfit
You don't, do you?
Then sprint over to that post first.

Ok, now that I have your attention..

Please note that I am back to blogging.. as always. I now started calling myself as "Occasional blogger" after I realised that I can't be regular here anymore. Though I have been reading other blog posts quite regularly, but writing one has become so hard for me. So I hope I will let myself have this tag at-least.

While I was chilling on this 5days long weekend break loading myself with sugar, I decided to do this Chrismassy post. It is a beautiful time of the year everywhere and what more than dedicating it with a red outfit!
This dress is one of my all time favorites and very special. Its a simple ready-made dress (which I stole from my sister 😬). The color and fitting instantly caught my eye and I love it more for the mesh fabric and dupatta. I paired it with antique colored jewellery and brown san…

What is L.O.V.E.?

The four lettered happiest, hurtful, mysterious (and what not!) word causing happiness, pain and loads of confusion in lives of people. While I started to write something about it on this "so called" special day, nothing popped up in my mind. Like nothing. Nada.
I questioned myself - Can we really say/write about love? Can we really define love? Isn't Love a feeling to experience and an expression to let someone know about your feeling? There are SO many kinds of love that words alone can never do it justice. Probably that is the reason they simplified it to the phrase 'I Love You'.
Love towards our parents, siblings, husband/wife, kids, family, friends, pets, acquaintances, and even to a stranger, we show our love and respect. Each one of us has our own feeling, experience, definition and obviously our own ways of expressing it.
Love is like a sneeze, I feel.. you know.. the restlessness before and the relaxation after. Its exactly the same. And you cannot explain…
