1. Last one week has been so nice. After weeks of confusion, I am relaxed with my job which means no real work for some time. Worked out as and when I had time. Met friends. Checked the things off my list. etc..

2. I started to paint something.. something simple to start with. After days of postponement, I am finally there.

3. Is there anyone else who can't get off the songs of Ashiqui 2 and Shuddh Desi Romance?

4. I need a head to toe make-over. Its been ages I had body and face massage, manicure, pedicure and a hair cut. I miss those times.

5. I so wish I should have gone for drinks tonight. Its not a good feeling when you have to sit at home on a weekend writing your ramblings while everyone else is partying.

6. I am trying to make some special dishes on my own. I mean with no-one's nagging about it. It's a punch-on-the-face to those who say I am not a kitchen person.

7. I am being regular to yoga and zumba, my favourite activities. I am so much in love with hatha yoga that one time I think I almost snored in sevaasana at class. [moment of embarrassment]

8. My internet connection is so bad today that I couldn't watch my smart tv for the whole day. Its more annoying when you know who the reason behind it is and still can't do anything about it.

9. Its festive season in India and I miss my family like loads. Especially my pup. I just want to hug her tight and get relieved of my tensions.

10. Except this, my overall weekend is peaceful.

Do you know Norwegians grow rose plants on road side and in house fences? It's so hard to control yourself and not pick them up.

Polka Dots Please

I love how Polka Dots are so versatile. You don't need to wait for a season to wear them or in fact wait for any occasion. I've got enough of my polka dots outfits and I love all of them. Especially this blazer.. I was bit skeptical when I bought this if it looks too formal and works well only as formals. But let me tell you. This will go with anything and everything.. for a work meeting with formal trousers and shirts, at the same time you can wear for a family dinner or carry it as a warmer for a cocktail party when you feel chills with your drinks. Or for a girls casual day-out wearing with a simple jeans and t-shirt like this one.
Here, I styled it with my favourite jeans over a tube top, accessorised with a simple choker and an aqua shade finger ring (not well captured but another favourite one). Ended with a pony tail and black heels which I think gave a classy look, no? What do you think? Let me know how it works for you.

Indianizing Christmas Day outfit :)

Remember the blog post I wrote last year Indianizing St. Patricks Day outfit
You don't, do you?
Then sprint over to that post first.

Ok, now that I have your attention..

Please note that I am back to blogging.. as always. I now started calling myself as "Occasional blogger" after I realised that I can't be regular here anymore. Though I have been reading other blog posts quite regularly, but writing one has become so hard for me. So I hope I will let myself have this tag at-least.

While I was chilling on this 5days long weekend break loading myself with sugar, I decided to do this Chrismassy post. It is a beautiful time of the year everywhere and what more than dedicating it with a red outfit!
This dress is one of my all time favorites and very special. Its a simple ready-made dress (which I stole from my sister 😬). The color and fitting instantly caught my eye and I love it more for the mesh fabric and dupatta. I paired it with antique colored jewellery and brown san…

What is L.O.V.E.?

The four lettered happiest, hurtful, mysterious (and what not!) word causing happiness, pain and loads of confusion in lives of people. While I started to write something about it on this "so called" special day, nothing popped up in my mind. Like nothing. Nada.
I questioned myself - Can we really say/write about love? Can we really define love? Isn't Love a feeling to experience and an expression to let someone know about your feeling? There are SO many kinds of love that words alone can never do it justice. Probably that is the reason they simplified it to the phrase 'I Love You'.
Love towards our parents, siblings, husband/wife, kids, family, friends, pets, acquaintances, and even to a stranger, we show our love and respect. Each one of us has our own feeling, experience, definition and obviously our own ways of expressing it.
Love is like a sneeze, I feel.. you know.. the restlessness before and the relaxation after. Its exactly the same. And you cannot explain…
