Vacation Blues

So, I just had a month-long mixed-events vacation in India. Events being - birth in the family, death in dad's family, wedding of a friend and split of another. After attending all these, I am back to reality of my life in Norway after 24hours of travel and transits. It feels stupid to travel such long time to Europe because I couldn't get a better flight in my budget. On top of that, they advanced my flight. So imagine how much fun I must have had passing transit time of over 10hours.

Taking a whole month vacation, coming back and getting settled to work is certainly not new to me. Inspite of doing it for more than 3years now, this time its kind of more home sickness that made me feel different. And then my mom cries every time I call her [moms you know!].

To get off all these emotions of the mind, I slept like a log after reaching home.. expecting to be fresh for the next day to work which turned to be little odd to me after the following sequence of incidents.

1. I woke up to a blunt hangover.
2. I forgot where I usually have my stuff and passwords.
3. I ate nothing for one whole day. So, I started to get some groceries.
4. I carried my gym card instead of bus card.
5. I handed over US dollars to buy a Norwegian bus ticket for which I got a silly smile from the driver.
6. I missed the stop I had to get down.
7. Reaching the store, I opened the wallet to know that I forgot my money cards.
8. Came back home and after planning to re-make my visit to the store, I remembered that there is a nearer store that I usually prefer about which I completely forgot.
9. There I stood in the middle of the road all confused about what I was doing.
Only then I realised that something is going really wrong with me.

Do you think I need more reasons to say that I am suffering from post-vacation blues? Before I slowly go into the phase of depression, I am pushing myself hard to fall back to my routine. Wish me luck.

What is L.O.V.E.?

The four lettered happiest, hurtful, mysterious (and what not!) word causing happiness, pain and loads of confusion in lives of people. While I started to write something about it on this "so called" special day, nothing popped up in my mind. Like nothing. Nada. 
I questioned myself - Can we really say/write about love? Can we really define love? Isn't Love a feeling to experience and an expression to let someone know about your feeling? There are SO many kinds of love that words alone can never do it justice. Probably that is the reason they simplified it to the phrase 'I Love You'.
Love towards our parents, siblings, husband/wife, kids, family, friends, pets, acquaintances, and even to a stranger, we show our love and respect. Each one of us has our own feeling, experience, definition and obviously our own ways of expressing it.
Love is like a sneeze, I feel.. you know.. the restlessness before and the relaxation after. Its exactly the same. And you cannot explain…
