New year. And finally a new post!

I entered into the new year very abruptly. I was busy travelling to Netherlands and Belgium for Christmas to spend an awesome time with my cousins. By the time I realised and out of the bright lights and food (this includes hell lot of chocolates, cakes and cookies) mood of christmas, it was new year already. So I didn't make any special plans for new year's eve and decided to spend some good time (which includes food again) with friends just like a random weekend. Both the occasions were so fun and I already learnt my first few lessons of this new year even before I made any resolutions. Never ever mix your drinks! Big big mistake! And I don't want to talk about the other lessons :P

Last year had been very special to me. It was nothing about any resolutions or goals. I just took it as it came my way. Travelled to several places, made good friends, tried a lot of things that I never did before. And at the same time, slowly moving towards my goals and also becoming a better person. I am very much happy and satisfied. Isn't that all you need in life?

If you have read my previous new year’s post, I am not a person who likes making resolutions but I love setting goals. Achieving them or not is another thing. And if I ever want to make any resolution, I don’t wait for new year. After all..

Shall we move on to my photo shoot now?

I have been looking for this jeans for a while and couldn't have the patience to wait anymore. So, I purchased a size smaller than I need :) Sometimes you just need to be happy with what you get, no? (If only I think this way of my life, my life would have been a lot better)

How much I love to pose!

Polka Dots Please

I love how Polka Dots are so versatile. You don't need to wait for a season to wear them or in fact wait for any occasion. I've got enough of my polka dots outfits and I love all of them. Especially this blazer.. I was bit skeptical when I bought this if it looks too formal and works well only as formals. But let me tell you. This will go with anything and everything.. for a work meeting with formal trousers and shirts, at the same time you can wear for a family dinner or carry it as a warmer for a cocktail party when you feel chills with your drinks. Or for a girls casual day-out wearing with a simple jeans and t-shirt like this one.
Here, I styled it with my favourite jeans over a tube top, accessorised with a simple choker and an aqua shade finger ring (not well captured but another favourite one). Ended with a pony tail and black heels which I think gave a classy look, no? What do you think? Let me know how it works for you.

Indianizing Christmas Day outfit :)

Remember the blog post I wrote last year Indianizing St. Patricks Day outfit
You don't, do you?
Then sprint over to that post first.

Ok, now that I have your attention..

Please note that I am back to blogging.. as always. I now started calling myself as "Occasional blogger" after I realised that I can't be regular here anymore. Though I have been reading other blog posts quite regularly, but writing one has become so hard for me. So I hope I will let myself have this tag at-least.

While I was chilling on this 5days long weekend break loading myself with sugar, I decided to do this Chrismassy post. It is a beautiful time of the year everywhere and what more than dedicating it with a red outfit!
This dress is one of my all time favorites and very special. Its a simple ready-made dress (which I stole from my sister 😬). The color and fitting instantly caught my eye and I love it more for the mesh fabric and dupatta. I paired it with antique colored jewellery and brown san…

What is L.O.V.E.?

The four lettered happiest, hurtful, mysterious (and what not!) word causing happiness, pain and loads of confusion in lives of people. While I started to write something about it on this "so called" special day, nothing popped up in my mind. Like nothing. Nada.
I questioned myself - Can we really say/write about love? Can we really define love? Isn't Love a feeling to experience and an expression to let someone know about your feeling? There are SO many kinds of love that words alone can never do it justice. Probably that is the reason they simplified it to the phrase 'I Love You'.
Love towards our parents, siblings, husband/wife, kids, family, friends, pets, acquaintances, and even to a stranger, we show our love and respect. Each one of us has our own feeling, experience, definition and obviously our own ways of expressing it.
Love is like a sneeze, I feel.. you know.. the restlessness before and the relaxation after. Its exactly the same. And you cannot explain…
