A ride to remember: My Nordsjorittet memories

Sending good vibes and wishes to those who participated in the Nordsjørittet today. Nordsjørittet (North Sea Race) is a Norway's popular and scenic annual bike race, stretching distances of 92kms (full race) and 45kms (mini race). As many cyclists took part in the race today, I found myself looking back at one of the memorable experiences of life. Throwback to many years ago, when I participated in the race in different years trying both the distances. While I enjoyed both the experiences, it is the first ride of 92kms that has stayed with me all these years. I was always fascinated by the active lifestyle in Norway, where hiking, skiing, cycling, running were just not workout routines but a way of life. Meanwhile, there i was, whose workout routine meant a good yoga session and a fun zumba class. One year I was cheering for my friends for the race, and the next year, I decided to try it out myself.
