    Not true for me, my phone rings out of nowhere in the middle of a meeting or when I am giving presentations to clients! Phone's vibrator is not good enough for me, i guess they should put a mild earthquake on phone for careless guys like me!

    sounds true to me. it giveds me some laughs when i see aunty's ringtone. nothing against woman, but how did the cartoonist got it so right!

Rodeo Carnival

I have had a chance again to have fun at Rodeo Carnivals this year. Unlike last year, which was spent on all rides and Rodeo show, this year concentration was solely on concert and food :)  We could get tickets for the Enrique's concert. It wasn't my first live concert but had fun like the first one. Shouting, singing, trying-to-dance. His fans went crazy when he started ' Tonight, I'm loving you !'. He couldn't bear his fans more and so he started moving around the ground, flying kisses, hugs, smooches to  fans. He was on a swing and caught up with a fan. He sung for her, hugged her, kissed her and there she was totally gone. She couldn't come out of the shock and started crying.  She was not ready to leave him though her hubby was there. Summer kurtis

Summers can be less warmer with kurti fits like these.  This is a throwback post from my last trip to India in 2022, when the weather was supposed to cool down. Unlike me who loves wearing night clothes and shut myself indoors, I had to pull out the cotton dresses and kurtis to endure the heat. Love how comfortable and breathable they made me feel. I bought 3 of similar kurtis and I don't regret. How do you like it?  I love the last shot in this post.. wasn't intentional to advertise Tommy though.. or was it?! ;-)

Baby Showers

Recently, one of my colleagues invited me for her daughter's baby shower. I would for sure wear some fancy salwar or saree for Indians. But I don't have any clue about American baby showers. What they wear, what they do and what I need to gift. After scanning my closet for half an hour, this is what I came up with. I am comfortable in skirts and they are my all time favourites. Or may be I had to chose this to match with my new favourite shoes *shying* And I could come up with a nice gift too - Baby bath bed. The fun part of their baby shower is the games. One of them is something like this - they would give us some choclates, ask us to smell and write the name. Sounds nothing, eh? They keep the choclates paste in diapers. When we opened the diaper, the choclate looked like a paste and imagine they asking us to smell it. Everyone felt yuck before they started smelling it a number of times to figure out the name.
