Diving Deep into Nostalgia (Niagara)!

We have this long weekend in USA for Memorial Day. Of course I have long weekends every alternate weeks. It doesn't make much difference for me. But these are the weekends people actually plan for trips. Summers here and we SHOULD plan.

Last year this time was really fun for me. This time just that I don't have friends here, but last year was fun with my friends. I went to Niagara and New york. It was a 3day plan and went very smooth. We actually don't know how to go and all. So, we booked our tourism tickets for Niagara. Its a Chinkis travel services. From Groton (the place I was there in Connecticut), we went to NY in bus for 3hours. And the bus to Niagara is next morning at 7.

As we don't have any place to stay for a night, we planned to stay at our bus stop but they didn't allow us. Yay!! So, we had to stay at Times Square the whole night. Isn't it fun? This is the place I love the most in NY. It is such a lively and crowded place. But still no one bothers you. There is NY Police Department Office right in front of it. So, no un-secure problem too. We can see people drinking, dancing, shouting etc etc.. but still it is safe. I say you to try guys. It IS a fun place!!

We got into our Niagara bus finally after half-sleeping all the night. The bus was little late and we didn't get a luxury one. So, everyone was frustrated but the travels assured us comfort and fun. That is a 7-8hours journey. We meet a LOT of Indians here. The Chinki tries to entertain you and thats fun too. Everything goes in the bus only. Eating, Sleeping, Shitting. Sab kuch chalega ;-).

We reached there almost in the evening. They took us to 1000 islands first. This is a place near Niagara and beautiful. They will take us in a boat and show the islands.

From there we went to see the night view of Niagara. It was really scary in the night.

The next day they took us to Niagara. And now I can't tell you my feeling. It was AWESOME. I was scared little when I saw all the water. That was the first time I saw falls. It was amazing!! It is a would-love-to-go place. I would like to visit this place one more time with a whole bunch of friends. You obviously get excited seeing the water and all.

They take us to the falls in a boat and the tours are called "Maid of the Mist" and "Cave of the winds". These pictures say it all :-).

They leave us at this place to play with water. Whohooo!!!! The girl who is scared of water forgot all about it. She forgot about her camera too and captured all these beautiful shots. Of course camera is still working ;-).

We didn't actually stop here. We went to NY back again to see Statue of Liberty and all other miscellaneous places. If you ever go to ground zero sometime, don't forget to visit the Pakistani's open food stall diagonal to it on left. And do eat "Rice over Chicken" ;-). Oh my gosh! I wanna go back to that place. Can it be all fun again? I am so nostalgic watching all these pictures :'-(.
